After Quebecoise cutie Julie LeBreton won Canada’s Genie Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for her part as Lucille Richard in the hockey biopic Maurice Richard (2005), aka The Rocket, her career took off with, well, a rocket. With only a handful of movies and television roles prior to the big win, including the part of Brigitte in Minuit, le soir in 2005, the sometimes blonde, sometimes redhead suddenly found herself with a leading role as Marie-Hélène Rivard-Paré in François en série from 2006-2007, alongside the part of Evelyne Desrochers in Nos étés from 2006-2008. And then came the feature film Cadavres (2009), aka Corpses, and Julie’s body is nothing but alive, and alluring, and 100% completely and totally naked. Playing the character Angèle, the starlet presents her tatas, triangle, and tush in a post-shower scene where she stands, full-frontal fantastic for a whole 20-some-odd seconds before a towel comes into view. It’s a special film and there are more boobs to behold, as well as some cheeky panties and even a bra—which deserves a “best supporting” award in the humble opinion of Mr. Skin. A hard act to follow, Julie nevertheless did just that, as Isabelle Boyer in the TV series Les hauts et les bas de Sophie Paquin from 2008-2009, Valérie in the movie Starbuck (2011), in the series Mauvais Karma as Kim Wright from 2010-2012, as Rachel Duguay in the film Real Lies (2014), in the series Les beaux malaises as Julie from 2014-2017, rolling right into Victor Lessard as Jacinthe Taillon from 2017-2019, then acting as Anne-Marie Leclerc in Epidemic in 2020. And while the whole lot of this was going on, Julie also appeared in 51 episodes of True North, playing Délima Poudrier from 2016-2021. All this from a rocket. Huh. Mr. Skin has one of those, too—especially when Ms. LeBreton is around!
